Please note that the court will charge fees to file a small claim this starts from £35 ( See below). We charge a fee of £150. We also require you to carry out an online ID verification.

Small Claims Court Fees

• Does not exceed £300.00 Court fee of £35 
• Exceeds £300.00 but does not exceed £500.00 Court fee of £50
• Exceeds £500.00 but does not exceed £1,000.00 Court fee of £70
• Exceeds £1,000.00 but does not exceed £1,500.00 Court fee £80
• Exceeds £1,500.00 but does not exceed £3,000.00 Court fee of £115
• Exceeds £3,000.00 but does not exceed £5,000.00 Court fee of £205
• Exceeds £5,000.00 but does not exceed £10,000.00 Court fee of £455
• Exceeds £10,000.00 but does not exceed £99,999.99 Court fee of 5% of the amout claimed (Please contact us with the amout so we can give you the correct amount. Please do not use the small claims form for this amount. 

Where a percentage is specified in the table above as opposed to a Fee, the fee you will be charged is calculated as that percentage of the amount you are claiming.

If a Cap is shown this is the maximum fee that you can be charged for that claim amount range.
If a discount is shown this means that a discount for electronic submission applies. This will be deducted following the application of any Cap specified.
